PIHO Mobilization Team Visits 300 Families
A group of 300 families covered by a charity institute in the Shahr-e Rey county near Tehran received medical services provided by the Petroleum Industry Health Organization (PIHO) mobilization group.
The mobilization group had been set up by the Basij mobilization division of the Tehran branch of PIHO and the PIHO main office. Outpatient and inpatient services were given to the families who were mainly female breadwinners and orphans.
The charitable plan lasted eight hours. 
Pediatricians, orthopedists, nutrition specialists and other skilled doctors were providing services to the people there. Specialized services were provided at the best quality to the clients.
Distribution of medications on the spot gratuitously, referral of prescriptions for special diseases to special centers, nursing services like injection, blood sugar test, blood pressure gauge and outpatient treatment were among other plans implemented by the working group.
Along with medical services, 300 packages of stationery were distributed among schoolchildren while 300 packs of toothbrush and toothpaste as well as votive meat was distributed on that day.
The services were provided by a 24-member team of PIHO staff, including doctors, Basij staff, administrative and financial staff, public relations employees, transportation sector and a group of retirees.
