The dialysis ward of Tohid Hospital in the southern city of Jam was inaugurated. This new ward can accommodate six patients.
Those present at the inauguration ceremony were the Jam Friday Prayers leader, Jam MP, Jam governor, chairman and members of Jam Islamic City Council, CEPO of Fajr Jam Gas Refinery, deputy heads of Foundation for Special Diseases Affairs, vice-chancellor of Bushehr University of Medical Sciences for Development Affairs as well as benefactors from across Jam.
Covering 220 square meters, the dialysis ward of Tohid Hospital in Jam was built and equipped by the Foundation for Special Diseases Affairs, Bushehr University of Medical Sciences, Fajr Jam Gas Refining Company, Islamic City Council of Jam as well as benefactors.
The inauguration of this ward will dispense with the need to send 3,900 dialytic patients to neighboring cities. That would be instrumental in easing difficulties of this group of patients.
